I have a jeep liberty limited 2003 with factory indash am/fm cd. I checked the back and there is a slot to add the connection for a usaspec aux connection to use with my iphone to play tunes, but the crutchfield says it won't work with my type of factory radion...is this true? Any help would be appreciated...

My PA11-HON from USA-SPEC, connected to a factory system on a 2001 Honda Civic EX, is not charging my iPod Mini (firmware 1.4.1) or my newer 80 GB iPod (firmware 1.3) with video.
