Hey Rick, you can try this link : http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/ipodupdater20060628forwindows.html Unfortunately, I don't know if it works because I use a Mac, and the link is pc based, but it looks like the right one. I just assumed you have a pc, but if you do have a mac I can just email you...

Ok everyone... i have an answer to the "no song error" for the alpine 9884, 9886 etc. Unfortunately, it's the only way to remedy the issue. From what I heard, Alpine upgraded the stereos but the not the connector cable. So, simply go to an older version of the ipod software (1.2.1) or earlier. I...

However, if you purchase the cable form Crutchfield, and damage should occur because of the...

Hello! I've been looking at this same option for the past few days, and I'm a little concerned by a few of the PAC reviews I've seen. For example, of the 7 reviews on the Kenwood PAC cable page (Crutchfield Item #127ICKENW), two people say that the cable fried their Ipods!! Not that the cable didn't...

The 9885, and 9887 work fine with the ipods, and remember that it is only the gen 5.5 ipods that are an issue here. I have had both a 9885 and a 9886, and I have a 5.5 gen ipod. The 9886 sounds way better than the 9885, and it has a usb port. I am not sure why, but the 9886 has tighter and lower bass...
