I noticed the same thing on a Sony XBR5 this past weekend. It appears that the fast moving object slows down, while the rest of the picture moves at its regular speed. Don't get me wrong the pictures looks fantastic, but that "3D" look is "different".

I've got a 42" Panasonic plasma. I bought it in 2005 and haven't had any power problems with it. The one problem I've had with it was picture burn-in. When I was setting everything up I set the side bars to "off" when watching a 4x3 image because it looked the best. After watching it like this for not...

This was more prevelant with the XBR2 and XBR3, the XBR4 and 5 don't seem to be having that issue. The W3000's don't have that issue either. So I think you'd be very satisfied with a Sony XBR Series.

One particular channel (6.1) does not work on the sony lcd though. I have yet to find a resolution for this...

The new Sony xbr4 and xbr5 full 1080 sets use 120hz refresh rate. I can't see any difference between a xbr lcd and any plasma. Am I wrong?

ok so i got a look at the sammy 71 series with 120hz and with it set to high the image looks 3D. looks as if the the actors are popping out of the screen and that you can touch them it is amazing and a bit distracting at the same time. it also looks as if it is in fast forward at a really low speed....
