I have been messing around with car audio since I was 16. In 2001 I entered a competition, just for fun.It was my first attendance at a competition ever. I took 2nd place for sound quality. But, after the show a judge came over, wrapped his arm over my shoulders and told me my system sounded the best by far! The reason I didn't take 1st was because my power wire was run through the door jam, they took a lot of points for it being such a big fire hazard. The next day i reran the wire through the firewall, and I have been quit serious ever since.
