I have a 2005 Ford Escape with a factory indash stereo that contains an internal 6 CD player.
I would like to know what options I have to interface my iPod Classic Gen 4 120MB unit to the radio.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Your best option is to install a new head unit.
Your easiest option is a wireless modulator (but that gives you the worst sound).
If your car has an Auxiliary input, you can use that pretty well.
If not, your best option is probably a wired FM modulator.
There are aux inputs and iPod interfaces you can add to the stock system, but they typically cost more than the new head unit would.
Hope This Helps!!!

New Head Unit all the way. 9 times outta 10, linking an iPod to factory deck with no AUX jack gives very poor quality sound.
