so i just got my new setup... i got a 12" sony xplod 1300w and a 600w dual 4100 amp.
im wondering if the amp will be able to power the one amp?
Errm, no, you didn't get a 1300w sub and a 600w amp - sorry.
I am guessing the Sony sub is probably 330-380W RMS and SVC-4-ohms, but you want to verify that.
I'm guessing the amp is the XPA-4100, which is 50Wx4 or 150Wx2.
You can't bridge the amp to 1-channel, so you will have 150W for the sub, which is around 50% of RMS (it will work, but the amp is a bit small for it), and have 50W left to power your main speakers.
Hope This Helps!!!
