    Hey, i am a avid car audio endulger, but i am very new to home audio. Currently i am searching for a good system to go with my new 50 inch plasma. I am looking at thepanasonic SC PT770, 5.1 channel. its on sale at best buy, and looks like a solid buy. I would love some more expert sujjestions for alternatives. my price range is 300 to 500.     step ahead of you my friend. I've had a very satisfactory 1100 watt two 12" dual sub box with compatible amp. i assume you are speaking of the crossover knob on the amp, what should i set it to?

    ya that should be easy i will shoot you in the right direction. the biggest part about speaker car compatability is the size. usually in most cars the 2 front are different from the two back but not always. And of course 4 is not the limit. The point being is just use the crutchfield site, they are great for car speaker specs. Go in like you were going

  • 4 channel amp, will the effect be worth the money

    i have 4 Infinity Reference 6022si for my celica, and i have actually done quite a bit of research on amplifiers, but all the free articles are nothing past basic info. would an amp have enough of an effect to be worth the money, or are my speakers not high end enough to merit one. If so please reccomend a compatible rockford for me thank you! Oh and

    well i purchased the 7 color version of what you recomended, it was only 2 bucks more i figured it couldn't hurt. So in a round about sort of way problem solved ha ha, I will have lights that pulse to the beat of my music! I learned a lot and am extremely appreciative of what you did to help!

    ya, well thanks for your help all the same, so these interior lights... is it super sound responsive, or not a huge difference. Because really if i bought it it would be for that above all else. so from someoone who has is what do you think?

    I'll try a different voltometer, but i almost sure i took it right. I ran into a problem while reseraching. I read that with my specific built in LED's that it is meant for a 12V DC power source, and in face it advises specifically against hooking it up to the audio.

    it says rigth on the back of my subs that the LEDs require a 12V power supply, as for the amperage, what exactly is that mesured in because this is quite the hunt for info due to the fact that they are an older model

    when i tried it, it was continiously changing, should i choose a songs with a lot of base and just give you the highest number without i record with the subs connected?
