I work with the video crew here fairly often, and I can tell you guys that they are incredibly slammed at our current capacity. You'd be surprised what goes into each shoot, and the amount of time it actually takes. Not to mention all of the licensing work that goes along with each video. I can tell you however that we have a keen desire to evolve

Looking through the literature of every model I can locate, not a single one seems to indicate DIVX playback through USB. Hopefully we'll see a future model with this capability.

In this particular case, I'm afraid the actual dash cavity that the receiver slides into is only 3 11/32" in height. A double DIN sized receiver requires a cavity opening of 4". A custom install would be no small feat.

I've heard some rumblings from the rumor mill that a XM dock similar to the VDOC1 may be on the way, but no guarantees there, just hearsay at the moment.

Another tip is to make sure you prey in a directly outward motion right at the tab locations. This will put all of the pressure on the tab location keeping the trim from breaking.
