    To properly help you, we’ll need a little more information. What audio are you trying to transfer from the TV to your Sony surround system? Are you using the television’s built-in TV tuner or are you trying to output audio from and externally connected source (Blu-ray, Cable/Satellite box, gaming console, etc). or is it a little bit of both

    When issues like this arise, I always recommend rebooting the iPod. For a classic model, you simply press and hold the “Menu” and “Select” (Center button) until the screen goes blank and the Apple logo appears. Once the menu display reappears, connect it to the stereo to see if it’s recognized. Did you update the firmware

    As long as you’re certain that the factory stereo in your Honda is “Satellite Radio Ready”, then yes, the HON-SC1 is compatible with the stock stereo and the SC-VDOC1 is compatible with the HON-SC1. The SC-VDOC1 is compatible with the Starmate 5 , so you’re good to go in this application. At this time, I am unable to confirm
