If you are just powering the speakers with the headunit, it's absolutely pointless IMO to replace the wire if it's not physically broken or chaffed. You have many other bigger factors that are deteriorating the sound quality in your vehicle than the wiring you are using. If you are powering them with an amp however, I do recommend you run new

I hate to say it, but I was really disappointed by this headunit. I installed the CD5030 yesterday and replaced it with my old KDC-X791 today. The Eclipse wasn't a horrible headunit, but it has a lot (and I mean A LOT) of little quirks and hangups that pile up and ruin what otherwise would've been an awesome headunit. TigerHeli: Get it swapped out - USB was something that I thought "Would be nice to have the capability, but I'll probably never use it" when I bought my Sony. It has become by far my most used source (but then again, I don't have an iPod). +1 IIRC, the Geek Squad flash drives are just rebranded SanDisk drives.
