Actually, the rest of the car gets sound except during warm weather, which in South Mississippi means 10 months of mono sound and two months +/- of great sound.

The Audi dealer says the amplifier needs to be replaced ($1,216 for part and labor). Does this sound reasonable (both diagnosis and price)?

It seems to me that it acts like a loose wire or connection.

How hard would it be for me to replace the amplifier myself?

I installed the amp, sub and an Four-channel line output converter by SCOSCHE.

I am not getting an audio signal to my amp, I know this by testing my amp. I connected an mp3 player direct to the amp and it plays through the sub. I also checked the RCA cable and its good as well.

So its either the Line Output converter or my connections to the stock harness.

I have connected my converter to the rear speaker wires, on the white harness, (The main harness that has a black and white part)

A1 to Left Rear Brown
A2 to Left Rear Yellow
A3 to Right Rear Dark Blue
A4 to Right Rear Light Blue

(Ohh, I used Posi-Products™ Wire Connector Kit, they're like wire taps)

Should I try connecting to Front Speaker wires intsead? Or Do I need to connect all speaker wires, Front and Rear to the converter? I ordered from Crutchfield and they are sending me a replacement converter. I will get it here on Thursday. Can I do anything now to test and make sure everything is correct?

My original set was okay. I just got my friends box which was [extremely] loud ... in his car. It's no where near loud...barely audible in fact... [mod edit: language]

Is it more than likely that the genius who installed it originally spliced in before the amp and that is why my signal is so weak? Since it is a Bose they had to pull the signal off of my rear speaker and then run it through an adjustable crossover and then to my amp. Hope i was clear in what said. Thanks a lot. Any help would be great.

P325.1 amp/p2d210 punch stage 2 sub...help

I ordered these products, but will they work okay together?... i have tried wiring this stuff up and the amp works, but the sub isnt doing anything...
Re: pioneer deh-p6900ub/p5900ib in bose 350z

I have great news for you. We have researched your 2003 Nissan 350Z and the Bose system that came in it. We have found that you do not need any special integration adapter to keep the Bose amp and speakers working. Apparently, the Bose amp will accept speaker level signals. That means you can connect either of the Pioneer receivers and everything else will work (including the subwoofer). We do include the vehicle specific parts you need (the kit and the harness) for free with either Pioneer receiver.
