amp, speakers, whole setup.

i am not too experienced with car audio other than just swapping head units. my question is:

1) if i am going to hook my sub up to my PYLE pla600 (600 watt, 2 channel) amp, do i need to wire up my aftermarket door speakers in my vehicle, just run aftermarket speakerwire from them, or just leave them how they are? other than this, i pretty much understand everything. if i do need to hook up my speakers to the amp, will the 600 watt 2 channel amp enough to power 2 12'' subs and the speakers?

2), i am going to get a Dual XDM 6830 H/U, 12'' JL Audio or JBL subs, i am using my PYLE pla600 2 channel amp, Pioneer door speakers, EFX or StreetWires wiring. is this a good setup? if not, what are your suggestions?

3) what kind (brand) of wiring should i get? (im trying to keep every color that a can blue. my vehicle is white and i would like to trim it in blue) what gauge wire should i use?

4) is this a good H/U?

5) what kind of connectors should i use for my amp and subs?

6) and one more question. is there a need for me to purchase a capacitor? and if so, how many Farads? and what brand is best?

if ive gotten this setup completely wrong, please dont hesitate to tell me. im open for personal opinions, suggestions, and any/all facts that you have to share. as i said before, i do not have very much experience with anything other than head units.

Best amp setting for this setup.

2004 Honda Civic Coupe EX

Pioneer DEH-P600UB

Polk MMC6500 in the front

Polk MMC690 in the back

JL 12W6v2 Sub

Amps: JL 500/1v1 and 300/4v1

1 Farad Cap

What would be the best setting for the amps to get the best out of the speakers?

Hello all (-:

Im looking to replace the front 6.5 comps & the 6x9 rears. I have an alpine MRV-F300 30x4@ 4 ohm /40x4 @ 2ohm amp, & a JVD KD-AVX1 h/u. A pro will do the install, but I have not decided on speakers yet. Here is what I have kinda sorta, not really decided on (there are SO many choices its not even funny) I will not be adding a sub anytime soon, if at all....I have been to 4 shops and I always feel like they wanna sell me whatever they have in stock and with the best profit margin. I may or may not have dynamat done in the doors & rear deck. I listen to top40, electronica, classical, hip hop, and very little if any rock. Lastly, I dont want to go through this process again, so I'd like to get it done right the first time and I do plan on having the car for a long time. I hope that this is enough info for some suggestions or ideas.

JL TR650-CSi : but im worried that they have a inline crossover and no tweeter attenuation.

who makes the better speakers in terms of quality of sound, loudness ability, and overall performance for 6x8 speakers?

boston acoustics, infinity, jbl, jl audio, kenwood, pioneer, kicker and sony

Also why is it that 5x7s can fit into 6x8 holes? which brand of 5x7 would you recommend and would they be better than a 6x8?

i currently have 10 JL audio sub

i am looking to upgrade my system to 2 12" but i dont know which brand of sub to go with, ive heard really good things about JL and iam pleased with the sub i have but ive also heard good things about other brands like kicker, alpine, pioneer. I am just wondering which subwoofers would be the overall best to go with if i want good sound quality that hits pretty hard, any suggestions???

hi i was wondering what would b the best set up fo an 06 silverado ext cab. i was thinking going with two 12s under the back seat in a fiberglass enclsure that has &" mounting depth n 15 cubic feet air space.. probaly use jl w3s or kicker cvrs or cvxs. and also replace all my door speakers with boston speakers. im getting the pioneer z2 in dash. But i was jus wondering how this set up would b or is there a better one i also need help with an amp i was thinking the jl slash series but idk please help
