I am running two pioneer 12" ts-w306dvc subs in a ported box off a cute little sony xplod amp (xm-sd22x), lol. Now I've grown up and realized this isn't going to cut it. I have everything wired up like the "Two Subwoofers, Mono Amp" diagram here (http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car...

So I installed a DVC jl audio 10w6 to a kicker zx 300.1 and there is no output from the subwoofer. I got the sub from a friend so i decided to try and hook it up anyways. The amp is on with a green light stating there are no problems in wiring. I wired the sub to present a 3 ohm load and the amp is stable...

Specifically, are the 12" subs the 2-ohm DVC or 4-ohm DVC version? If they are 2-ohm, then you can wire them to a mono amp that can handle a 3 ohm load. If they are 4-ohm, then you can connect them to a mono amp that can handle a 2.7 ohm load. Here is a wiring diagram for 3 2-ohm DVC subs to a mono amp...

Currently my setup is two ten inch subs (2-ohm) being pushed by a two channel amp. The amp is running 450 watts per channel at 2-ohms. My question is, would i see any performance gain out of getting two DVC's and wiring them accordingly depending on their impedance? My amp can run 450 watts per channel...

I would like to find a way to wire it to the Rockford Fosgate T500-1bd which is 1 ohm stable with a wattage rating at 500 watts. I know that with dual voice coils, the input...

Hi. I bought a Power Acoustik React1-1800 class D amplifier . I hooked it up for a 2 ohm load to a Rockford Fosgate Power T1 4 ohm 10 inch subwoofer , rated at 600 watts RMS. With the 2 ohm load, the amplifier is putting 700 watts RMS to the subwoofer. I'm using 5 gauge power wire, split with a distribution...
