I am looking for an amp to power my 6.5" momo components. They are rated to handle 125 watts rms. Would the Profile HA1000 or AP1000 be a good amp for this application? Both are 2 Ch's rated at 160 watts rms @ 4 ohms; the momo's are 4 ohms's as well. I could just turn the amp down a bit to compensate...

Hey guys here is the situation. I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I have done moderate customization to. I want to add big time bass to my truck. Somewhere around 1500 to 2k watts. I love the way Kicker's DS12L7 subs and box combo (2 ohm or 4 ohm, not sure which I should get. Please help...) looks...

I have the extended cab three door with out on star and a factory head unit. I also plan on putting two decent subs under the back seat. The box i have is a dual chamber. each...

I have a 1999 Tahoe and the back doors will only accomodate a shallow mount speaker. I have polk momo MMC650s, which are 6 1/2" speakers that I have in my front doors with a max rms of 80 watts. In the rear I have Infinity shallow mount speakers, the Infinity reference 6022si that are 6 1/2" speakers...

I do not recommend getting the Infinity Kappa 50.7cs speakers to use with your Blaupunkt PA2100 amp. The 150 watts RMS that the amp will give the speakers is way more than the 85 watts RMS that the Infinity speakers handle. While this is not enough to blow them, it will cause them to distort. I recommend...

Hey Bernardo, I like your choice in subs and it sounds like you have a good system started. As to the amplifier, all you have to do is try to match the RMS ratings of the subs to the RMS ratings of the amp. In this case, the subs are rated at 750 watts at 2 ohms. The Alpine PDX-1.600 is rated 600 watts...
