  • ? about Replacing '00 Grand Cherokee Factory Head Unit

    I have a '00 Grand Cherokee and I am going to replace the factory HU. But on the back of the factory head unit there is a black wire connected to it that says amp on the connector. I'm guessing that this is the ground wire from the factory amp but I'm not sure. Could anyone who has replaced there Jeep...

    I'm having the same problem in my '00 Grand Cherokee, but on my Kenwood HU the blue/white is the Power Cont., and the solid blue wire is Ant. Cont. and it is labeled the same way on the wiring harness. So how should I connect the wires in order to do what you are suggesting? Also on the factory HU there...
