This question is answered

I have a  DISH receiver. If I buy a 3D tv, do I need a special receiver to actually see 3D?

  • Sorry for the delayed response. If you want to enjoy any 3D channels/content provided from Dish, you’ll need to have a 3D capable set-top box (Provided by Dish).

Most 3D televisions offer real-time 2D to 3D conversion so you don’t have to have anything but your TV, the compatible glasses, and a video source. For the best 3D effects, you will want to have access to native 3D source content (3D Blu-ray, 3D HD Channles).
