Outdoor projector - I am trying to set up a outdoor movie night, but it seems to be more complicated than it should be. I am using a appletv, a Bluetooth speaker, and my projector. I have the projector sitting on a ladder. Is there a cleaner way that others set up their outdoor screens? My screen is portable, but I want all of us to be able to sit around the fire and watch a movie or sporting event, but it seems like I need the projector almost on top of the screen, other wise the image is too big. I'd like for it to look professional, but instead my set up looks very amateur. Are there any tips you can give to make my outdoor set up look more professional?
It's all in the specific projector's lens and throw distance needed to produce the image size that best fits the screen you're using. Some projectors can be mounted farther away and still project a smaller image but, generally speaking, the farther the projector is mounted, the larger the projected image will have to be.
I hope that helps.
Anyone else have a good recommendation?
