I have over 30 years in the custom electronics integration industry (automotive & residential) and have a RESIma lifetime certification from the Electronic Technicians Association International. I have written and taught post-secondary Electronics Engineering Technology and Residential Systems Integration curriculum. I was a member of the committee that developed the CEA Multiroom Audio Cabling Standard (CEA-2030). I use GNU/Linux exclusively.
